From an idea to an AI delivery platform in three months

TechTransit arrived with a vision for smarter courier work and no system yet. We designed and built the whole platform, and the AI now assigns most deliveries on its own.

The challenge

TechTransit wanted to run a courier business where software, not dispatchers, decided which driver takes which order, based on location, route and workload. Dispatchers still needed to override the system at any time. There was no existing product to build on, and the platform had to connect admins, drivers and customers in real time.

What we built

AI assignment engine

A model trained on local geography and delivery behaviour that assigns orders to the best driver automatically, with manual override built in.

Driver app

A mobile app for accepting jobs, navigating routes and confirming deliveries, designed for drivers on the move.

Live operations dashboard

Real-time tracking of every order and driver, so managers see problems before customers do.

Customer visibility

Live delivery tracking for customers, reducing 'where is my order' calls.

Results

  • Over 80% of deliveries are now assigned automatically by the AI engine.
  • The platform handles more than 1,000 orders a month.
  • Route-aware assignment reduced delays and gave managers full real-time visibility.
  • The architecture is ready to expand to new regions without a rebuild.
